H.E. Khempo Rinpoche was steadfast in his offering of an annual Memorial to honor two special individuals. Khempo Rinpoche wished to show his respect for an American Buddhist teacher as well as Thomas Lundstrom, an American Buddhist practitioner, generous student, and sponsor of Khempo Rinpoche. Many of Khempo's students previously studied with the American Buddhist teacher, Rama, who passed away in 1998.

The members of ODN wish to continue Khempo Rinpoche’s tradition of honoring those teachers and students of the Dharma who are meaningful to us, and who have passed away.

ODN will be sponsoring a yearly Memorial to honor our beloved teacher, Khempo Yurmed Tinly Rinpoche, as well as Rama and Thomas Lundstrom. As the date is scheduled each year, details will be posted on the website. The Memorial will be open to all who wish to attend.
